OUR PROGRAM
This program will allow community members to improve overall fitness levels and strengthen their bodies. We believe movement is key to bringing community members back to ancestral land and continuing culture and tradition.
CUSTOMIZED WORKOUT PLAN
Custom Workout Plan for Community Members ranging from adult plans to Elder plans.
All exercises will be placed on a mobile app.
Objectives of this program are:
Promote physical health and well-being
Encourage community participation
Incorporate cultural elements
Improve overall fitness levels
Train the trainer
A train the trainer program will be implemented to ensure the longevity of the program.
A train the trainer program entails a community member being trained to coach & train other community members.
Custom visuals
A trailer and full video will be filmed on the traditional territory. All of the exercises will be filmed with community members as well.
The videos will be used to engage community members and generate interest into the exercise program.
LAND BASED PRACTICES
Reconnection to the land through land based activities. We believe being on the land is key whether it comes to mental or physical wellness.
Mobile app
Our program will be available on a mobile app to be easily accessible for community members. The program will be split into sections for Adults, Elders and a Progression phase for further increasing activity. There is also a Questions & Answer section for participants.
